Kindergarten Rebalancing
In the 4th quarter of the 2012-2013 school year, we will be rebalancing the rosters of our Kindergarten classes. Students will be leveled into rooms according to their ability to decode words.
- Students who can recognize the "CVC" or consonant-vowel-consonant words such as cat, dog, etc. will be moved into rooms.
- Students who are still struggling with the CVC words and who have more needs for consistent letter identification, fluency, and recognition will be moved into classrooms to focus on those skills. Those classrooms will include the extra assistance of a Title 1 Aide.
Reteach/Enrich Guidelines
All students at Diamondback participate in a Reteach or Enrich class based off of their previous week's math scores. The guidelines for this program are listed here.
